Dr. Katherine Walker ND graduated from the National College of Naturopathic Medicine, a four year accredited naturopathic medical school in Portland, Oregon. While in school she focused her studies in midwifery, botanical medicine, biotherapeutic drainage, homeopathic medicine, nutrition, pediatrics and women’s health. She received a certificate in natural childbirth after completing an additional three years of coursework and clinical training. While in school Dr. Walker also completed over 2,000 hours of clinical preceptoring in primary care, midwifery and pediatrics
Dr. Walker works in concert with her patients and advocates for the each patient to achieve their goals in health and in life. She focuses on a whole-person approach to wellness that nurtures the mind, body and spirit. Her goal is to encourage proper care and nourishment of families, self and community.
Dr. Walker practices integrative family medicine with focuses on women’s health, gynecology, midwifery, pelvic floor dysfunction, endocrinology, autoimmunity, pediatrics, fertility, gastroenterology, anxiety, depression, insomnia, chronic stress and chronic disease—along with preventative medicine and wellness care.
Dr. Walker was raised in the gorgeous state of Michigan and slowly moved west to explore her passions. She graduated from Evergreen State College with degrees Microbiology and Nutritional Sciences before attending medical school at NCNM. In her personal time she enjoys cooking, reading, hiking, yoga, road biking, running and laughing with loved ones at every opportunity.
