Curried Cauliflower
Curried Cauliflower
Gluten Free and Dairy Free
Cauliflower does not seem like a favorable kid snack, but believe me this is worth the try. Cauliflower is a cruciferous vegetable that is beneficial for supporting detoxification pathways, providing antioxidants, and is a great anti-inflammatory. Cauliflower is also a good fiber source and is very low calorie. See the nutrition facts here.
Curry is a powerful anti-inflammatory and a wonderful addition to vegetable dishes. Curry powder is actually a mixture of any number of spices, the main spice in most curry powders is turmeric. This is the spice that gives curry it’s yellow color and is also responsible for its strong anti-inflammatory property.
Try introducing your child to a little spice! It’s good for them, and you!
